I have two dune geckos, one male, one female. They are in a 10gal tank with 1 ½” of sand. The have a small, shallow water dish. I have been told to add sand to one side of the tank and make a slope for them to burrow. They said to dampen the sand so it dries making the sand pack together so when they burrow it doesn’t cave in on them. Any other advice on what to put in the tank? And I read somewhere that you should keep one side moist for them as well . . . true?
