Hi
I just received a pair of Red Saharans a couple of days ago and this morning I saw the male eating some juvenile iguana food & seed mix and he gotten even more red/orange in color then a few days ago, he looked beautiful. I was happy to see him eating so I didn't bother him. Just now I looked in the trough and seen the male trying to mate. He was on her back just holding her with one bite on her neck and she was walking around with him horse back. They are only 19-20 months old and I only had them for a few days. I just wanted to know if that was a good age for them to be breeding and if it was common of them to settle down and breed or try to breed so fast? Now I need to get a Rubbermaid nest box in the cage ready just in case. I'm in the process of moving to my new house and it wont be ready till September and I didn't want them to breed or try to breed just yet. Hope they don't get stressed out because of the move.
I bred a lot of reptiles before but never Uromastyxs. Are the eggs the same as Bearded Dragons, size and incubation?

Thanks for the help
Charlie
