UroJade Apr 25, 2004 04:27 PM

My female Saharan starting eating the dirt mix when i put some in,in a small tub for her to try out, i e'mailed the previous owner to see if maybe he had her on seed or something edible and he told me he kept her on sand so i just took a small tub of sand and put in in and she tried to eat it to,it wasnt just licking she was taking bites so i took that away to what am i going to do about her?

You can try millet wild bird seed for the substrate. And do the Sand/soil mix in a plastic box covered with a nice size hole cut in the side with a 3"-4" open plastic flexi type pipe 20" long for entrance. That's what I'm doing
