Is it necessary to use a hide spot with rubbermaid set-up or does it depend on the individual animal ? I have several Balls that feed much better with the hide-spot and I want to move them into rubbermaids. Thanks for any feed-back........Joe

I think it does help a lot. I house all my balls in rubber maids. Just last week I placed some hide boxes in with all my picky eaters and have found them to be eating more frequent. I just ordered 25 more hide boxes and I'm going to place one with all of the balls. So I guess to answer your question, I have found it to be very beneficial.

Thanks for the info. What type of hides do you use ?
I use black plastic hides. Fell free to e mail me I can send you a pic of them.
