She was bred to my Monmouth Co. male on 3/16 and 3/19 had her pre-egg lay shed on 4/13 and laid today on 4/25 . Total of 11 eggs and all look fertile. Last year she laid 8 eggs with 100% of the eggs hatching.

Congrats, are these the first of the, my Lav. alb. Brooksi laid 13 duds on Fri. As far as the 5' hypo I posted, I tried to measure him with a cloth tape and got 4' 9" what exactly is a serpwidget.

Cool,
Mine bred on 3/14
Pre-lay shed 4/14
14 fertile eggs, 1 dud egg on 3/21.

Pretty close to your schedule.

She laid 9 last year.

Since 3/21 she has taken 5 rat rups and one adult rat (today).

Think I will see if they will breed again ~ she's eatin' like a hog!

Good luck Keith,
Peter

congrats keith mine are right behind yours,,on another note from the pic it looks like your moss is EXTREMELY wet? could just be the pic though, do you incubate them in moss as well?, ive allways used a vermic/peat mixture for incubation as well as laying medium anway now the waiting, begins,,,,,,peace

Yeah that moss was pretty wet for a couple of reasons one I just sprayed and 2 that nest box is on a rack with the heat one one side so the moss on the otherside stays dryer and the condensation drips onto the cooler side a bit keeping it damp. What does the female look like you bred Cleo to ?
