mite?

hey guys, just wandering if anyone has a pic of how a mite looks. my fiance was holding one of our red tails but when she switched hands she saw a little black bug. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Yeha it was probably a mite. Have you seen fleas before? If it wasn't a flea then it was probably a mite. Mites just look like little round black or white bugs. The white ones are like pin heads though. The black ones are kind of big. Do you know what a tick looks like? Theres another possibility but if you know what fleas and ticks look like and it wasn't onme of those then it was probably a mite and you want to get rid of them as soon as you can before they take over.

If you have a magnifing glass now is the time to use it.Mites are a b@#$% if you dont catch them fast.Give all your snakes a
good looking over,also look in the water bowls for them.If your
using any sort of wood decorations they can contain plain old bugs also.
