I went up there this weekend and didn't find anything. The condition where pretty lousy so i'm not that surprised but i do have a question, but i think i know the answer. Would it be better to search the sandier areas for things like bullsnakes, box turtles. and milksnakes than the wet grassy areas? and if so where should I look? and in what types of area, and under or in what types of things?

I'm dying to get up there! I've never gone but I have some friends that used to go. As far as I know, the bullsnakes (and milksnakes) are, yes, in the sandy areas. Apparently there is a lot of junk up there and that's where they found them. You've got e-mail.
