I putmy female in with my male, they started fighting and he was biting her neck. Is this normal? Will they settle down? (I separated them until I hear what I should do)

Unless you plan to breed them, and they are FULLY grown and healthy, keep them separated permanently.
They can get very rough and it can be scary to us but that’s what they do. The male will bite the female on and about the head to hold her down.
Fighting involves both of them head bobbing and flattening out, circling each other and biting at various parts including the head but also the tail, body and legs

They are grown and healthy and I do plan to breed them.
I just did not realize they played so rough.....
very normal, in fact we have 2 enclosures where there is plenty of "fighting" going on as I type. first time I saw it I was quite scared & worried, i was about crying for the poor girl, then she got a few licks in herself and all was good.
