Bearded behavior

skits Apr 26, 2004 08:42 AM

I'm new to bearded dragons and was thinkn of picking one up at the Expo in NC this coming weekend, i've done the research for their care and i was actually wondering about their personalities? I've heard of people comparing them to little dogs, but i've never seen a lizard with that much personality, just curious on the subject thanks for any advice.

I have more than a few and they all have their own distinct personalities. Some greet you at the cage door and jump out to be held, some are satisfied with a rub on the head and they are done. Some love to hang out and are basically a rock with legs while others have to investigate everything. Every personality you can think of and some you can't...

They are little bundles of personality.
As far as I am concerned, they are the BEST lizard out there LOL

They all vary in attitude, etc, but 99% of them are friendly and love interacting with their owners.

One of my beardies is just like a dog. He begs, he gives you that look when he wants something, I have to take him out to poo ( he wont poo in his tank)..the only real difference between him and a dog is that I dont have to share my bed with him!
