someone is seding mo for my leos and the MO may be in todays mail. I just called ups to see how to ship the leos and they said that they dont ship snakes or poisonus and they had the shipping center call me and shipping center said they dont ship any animals. What can I do? How can I ship these leos, I here people say they do ship and they ship ups themself so what am I to do? Im located in North jersey. Also i will be breeding snakes so what do I do about that

UPS DOES ship harmless lizards...I think you just have to make an account with them. I'm pretty sure people have said that its free. If they won't let you for some reason...try using FedEx

-ignorance is not to be punished when one is trying to gain knowledge...what scares me is the vast number of people who, when given the information to gain knowledge, choose to ignore it.

UPS does NOT ship. some locations will accept it anyway though.

FedEx does ship, but only authorized shippers that have sent their boxes to be tested to meet standards. There is information about this on the other site.

Airborne/DHL does not ship, but many locations do accept them.

USPS will ship lizards.

UPS DOES ship, you just have to get an account with them and get approval. Took about two weeks. They won't ship snakes though..

Fed Ex will ship, but as Steve said, you have to send a test box to their facility, and get approval, also takes about two weeks.

USPS will ship, just don't expect it to arrive overnight, they are probably the worst choice of the three.

Really should have done some homework before selling your geckos. There is a whole forum here on KS dedicated to shipping.

Well being in the position im in now which road would you guys take of the 3? I did recently get leos shipped to me through airborn and I shipped a lizard back out they even came and picked it up but I think maybe the person I traded with had an account with them thats why I was able to ship with no problems. also so if I go usps I dont have to wait 1-2 weeks like airborn and ups?
