a while ago we found an injured garter snake and took it in and i made a small cage out of a little aquarium figuring it would be enough till he got better. that night i went to check on him and he was gone. we searched for hours in the area when finally i was checking out under a heater and i saw an odd bit of wire. or maybe not wire. the snake had crawled into the wall where the heater cable hole is and he only had just a bit of tail sticking out of it. it took about 15 mins to work out a plan and i got some tweezers and pliars and grabbed the tail tip and with alot of effort we pulled him out. he was still alive and seemed to be very mad at me for disturbing him
we released him the very next day.
