Not sure if something's wrong

I got my cal king at a show on Feb 28 '04. It's about 15 or 16 inches long or so. It eats about once a week but is not always interested. Here's why I'm worried: it has not shed since I have purchased it. It seems that a young growing snake should have shed at least once since February. I can not tell that it has grown at all either.
