Hi

You can take a moist papertowel, not wet and drap it over the eggs over night and see how they do, if necesary you can do it for a second night.

Make sure your substrate under the eggs are moist enough.

Do this...

Go to your local grocery store and buy a thing of sandwich boxes from Ziploc, etc.

Go to your local gardening store and ask for "Perlite".

Come home, weigh the box, and "Tare", fill one of the boxes 2/3's full of perlite. Weigh it again. Times the amount of perlite by .8 and add that much water - by weight.

I.e.

The box weighs 27 grams. Tare..it now equals zero.

The perlite weights 100 grams. Times by .8 it is 80, but add it to the first 100 and it's 180. Now evenly mist the perlite until it hits the 180 gram mark. Poke a few holes in the lid of the sandwich box, but an indention in the perilite and put the eggs in the indention, and put them in the incubator.

Hi

You can try to use it, you will want to keep it moist not wet to where you could ring water out of it and see how it works.

Most people use vermiculite or perlite, both of which can be bought at a gardening store. You would want to add enough water to were it just clumps together, but not to the point to were you can drip water out of it. You will want to make sure that the substrate stays that way through the whole incubation period. Also, take the container out and take the lid of at least once a week for a few seconds to allow fresh air circulation to be exchanged in and out of the container, then return it to the incubator.

A couple of questions come to mind.

1. Is it possible they are not fertile?
2. What incubating medium are you using and how did you moisten it?

Regards,

Terry
