Can anyone out in Phoenix, AZ(or surrounding area).....talk to me about some herps?

Hello, I will be traveling to Phoenix, AZ durin the first week of June. I would like to know if anyone out there every finds any of these species or reptiles. I would like you to contact me so we can talk about them....(if you know of any husbandry tips and if you can get me some).

Here are the species and common names

Arizona elegans
Glossy Snake

Gyalopion canum
Chihuahuan Hook-nosed Snake

Sonora semiannulata
Ground Snake

Leptotyphlops humilis (I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME OF THESE)
Western Threadsnake

Tantilla(Genus)
Black Headed Snakes

Chionactis occipitalis
Western Shovel-nosed Snake

Chilomeniscus stramineus
Variable Sand Snake

You might want to take a serious look at the laws governing collection and possesion of native wildlife in Arizona. They have very serious restrictions on this kind of thing.

Not trying to get on your case about this, but I was in Arizona and they were rather militant about enforcement. Which at the time completely prohibited collection of native species.

Don't know when you were here last, but I have lived in Arizona for 18 years now, and you are allowed to collect native species, but you must have a valid Arizona hunting license. And be aware of bag limits, and protected species.
