In pairs, individually unless mating, in communities with 1 male? How do your dragons live and why did you choose that way?
My two dragons each have their own enclosure. The main reason is because they are both males, but even if I had males and females I'd keep them all seperated because I wouldn't want to risk any injuries or stress due to territorial issues.

Individually unless mating. Why?, because it's less stressful for them and I like to control who breeds with who.

Just as Ive found out with many other reptiles if they get along they get along, but if they dont youll know it.
How would anyone feel about being placed in a jail cell 24/7 with someone you dont know? You may get along you may not, you may kill each other that day or a year later, you may end up being married, but the point is you will never know until its tried.
Male lizards set up territories, those properties contain a home, borders to other territories, and females (sometimes many or few). Keeping 2 together is more complicated and you may have a pair that bonds, keeping 3 or more together is even more complicated but if they set up a hierarchy of dominance (usually rather quickly) they get along fine, who uses the basking spot when, who eats first, who uses which hiding place when, and so on, this is how these animals live without human bungling and interferance.
I have one juvie male and one adult female and they have their own enclosures. I do this because my female was a "failure to thrive" dragon as a baby and will never be bred (for her safety she is too small). Even if she was a breeder I wouldn't have her with him full time. They seem to like their own space.
