I just wanted to let everyone know that my resuced iguana lost the battle last night. i took him out to give him some water by syringe but he wouldnt take it... so i let it go.. he walked around for about 5 min. them i laid down to let him climb around so he could get around easier. he climb up on my chest and died right there.
He was doing so good to. he had energy, ate, drank, but i guess what i did wasnt enough... i was going to go out today and get stuff to build him his own decent size cage. but that wont happen now
This really sucks.. i wanted so bad for him to make it.
So what i am going to do now is sit down and over the next week or so i am going to write up and extensive care sheet and maybe even make a webpage if i can find one that doesnt cost a lot of money to have. and i will use what i have learned from this and what i have learned in general to make it right. so people will know how to care for these lizards. i am going to have alot of pictures showing enclosures, iggs with mdb.. the hole nine yards.. nothing will be left out... so look out because i may be asking for suggestions/pictures from everyone!
I just think that i owe it to all the iguanas that have died from people neglecting them and not learning how to care for them..
