Baho is not eating his greens

isleofskye Jun 15, 2003 12:48 PM

hopefully someone can help me out. My year old beardie has decided he is not eating his greens. I dust his crickets faithfully with the powder and recently introduced mealworms onece a week which he loves. He has been turning up his snout though at his favourite peas. I thought he might be sick of them and took them away for awhile and tried, dandilion greens (organically grown)romane lettuce which he used to eat but now hates, and even some tempting treats like melon, peaches. He is a true meateater but shouldn't he be eating green stuff???

First time for the worms i'm guessing? Dragons are very stubborn when they like something they might just turn there snout from something normal just to get the "worms" in ur case. If he loves them thats probably the case. It's okay for him to eat crickets and worms, but he doesn't get the full nutrition that he should. Just give it time and im sure he will go back to his green friends, just keep making sure he eats it he key part. Gl...
