He measures about 7.75' in length, but he's also missing the end of his tail, and he weighs in at over 100lbs. Tame as a puppy also... let me know what y'all think...have you seen bigger?

is that a pair? Where are they kept?
I saw a Nation Geographic episode and they caught a specimen that was 7'10 from the wild but definitely that looks like the biggest one I've ever seen. Good Job!

Maybe. I saw a marvelous salvator being kept temporarily at Ocala Exotics in Ocala, Florida, that claimed a length of 7 1/2 feet and 120 pounds, but they admitted that the stats were out of date. This guy was closer to 8 feet. I'm comparing based on the size of the one in the picture to the person in the picture vs. the one in Ocala next to my 6'4", 350 pound husband. The one in Ocala was bigger. He is also dog tame, and was there temporarily awaiting transport to the zoo where he will hopefully be able to father other fine large salvators! The man who had owned him was an older gentleman, and I saw pictures of him with a literal lap full of monitor, with its head even with his as he sat there, miles of monitor spilling off on the floor. I sure never knew that they got that big! Really fine big guy.
