Hi, if it is Cyclura nubila caymanensis you are referring to there is something with the permitting. If you go to Blair's page he says that the remaining animals from 1999 need a permit to be exported from CA. BUT the 2000 and younger animals do not need a permit. I have no idea why that is.

Pete is a caymanensis and he came from CA and he was hatched in 1999. I was very concerned about the legality of that. Sooo we contacted David Blair. What he said was that as long as he was gifted to me there was no permit needed. I know this probably doesnt pertain to you but I thought I would mention it. According to DB's site if you buy a 2000 or newer baby from here there shouldnt be a permit issue.

AHA, I just checked. It no longer says this! Apparently he only has females from 1999 left. I have no idea who else might have some that dont need permits. I dont know who else might be breeding them. You could call David and ask him. I am sure he would let you know.
