My yearling captive bred ones were both about 3 feet at one year (if I remember correctly). At 2 years Stevie is 5 feet and Dragon is 4 feet. Phuz, who is not in my care, is probably 4 feet at two years old. Tiny, also not in my care, is 4-4.5 feet if I remember correctly. The above mentioned animals all came from the same clutch.
Jalepeño, born September 16, 2003, is over 2 feet, probably about 2.5 feet.
Below (or above) is a picture of a newborn with Stevie on Stevie's 2nd birthday.

^x^ Bloodbat ^x^
because i hear they need alot of space. Do you keep you babies with the larger ones(probably not lol)? Also what is your set up like?
Not bloodbat, but ive raised 3 salvators in recent past, both males, from hatchling to current size. heres my data:
1.) male #1---april 21, 2002- april 21, 2004; 2 years- 5 foot on the dot. this one grew fast, and continues growing. at 1 year mark, it was over 3 feet.
2.) male #2---sept 2002- to present- currently 46 inches.
is not growing as fast under similar conditions as male #1 most likely from being housed with a more dominant male for aprox 5 months.
3.) female- my long term sulfur female is 11 years old, 5 foot 7 and growing still. in 2000, she was 56 inches total. when she hit 1 year in captivity, she was 38 inches long total.
if you want to compare wild caught salvators age : length, know this--- in india it takes 2 years for a wild salvator to hit 3 feet, while in captivity 3 feet is met in under 1 year under decent conditions ( fed daily, 80-130 degree enclosure with high humidity, etc. some keepers have grown sumatrans up to 5 feet in 1 year.
hope this helps. cant rule out stress level, genetics, nutrition, conditions, all play a role in their growth. - john
