Cottonmouth in tube

Here is a cottonmouth that was captured in Newport News VA, at one of the farthest northern limits of their range. I am helping a fellow graduate student with his radio tracking thesis work.

Hey, I live in Yorktown, pretty much right up the street from where I figure you may have found the cottonmouth.
Shoot me an email at guttersnacks@cox.net and maybe we can compare local info, or whatever. My current collection is kind of small, but includes a pair of red pygmy's and 8 little two week old babies.
