Het Ghost Hypos from Vincent Caruso - add was up yesterday -more

morelans Apr 27, 2004 12:32 PM

Ok.. so maybe I am just over reacting and not waiting long enough or something. I have been accused of that in the past.

So here is my question.. the add was on KS yesterday, I replied, Vincent Replied. He said he had a few people also interested but I had first pick since I emailed first. I would have to reply ASAP since there were others waiting.

I said I would take the deal and asked how to proceed with payment.

That was last night at 6pm.. and it is now 1:30 the next day and I have no reply. I emailed 4 additional times last night stating I did want the deal, as well as left my home number if he wanted to call instead.

Directly before bed I emailed again and left my work number so we could complete the deal today.

Still nothing. So I assume he is at work or something.. but how long do you usually wait before you start to get worried?

I have not sent the money.. but I DID pass up another deal I was working on because this deal needed cash ASAP.

Any Comments or suggestions?

Thanks
Shawn Morelan

I have no experience with that gentleman and this advice is not meant to be an indictment of him or his practices...

Myself..... When someone tells me he has other interested buyers and to get hot if I want the animal I reply thanks and walk away. If I think I really need the boa I might say, 'Great! let me know if it becomes available again'..

It's my advice you consider a similar approach..

He was nice enough in his email to tell me I had first refusal since I was the first to email. Since I replied rather quickly, I would hope all is well.

Thanks

It'll work out, things usually do. He may end up blowing you off, and it may be for the best. Or he might just be busy, and everything is going to be great! No money spent, so no harm yet. If the other deal wasn't worth giving up, you wouldn't have given it up, so maybe it's all for the best! If stress gets the better of you though, just go outside, find a brick wall and start punching it.....your stress will subside as pain kicks in and you'll forget all about this deal when the doctor is re-breaking your hand at the hospital!!! LOL-Best of luck, hope this didn't get you even more worked up. Take care

That was most excellent of him. Here I thought he was not answering and he was saying the same about me on his end. I am very happy he called to verify.
