Here is what I'm trying to achieve and how I am doing it. Any advice is very much welcome as this will be my first time keeping a Uroplatus of any sort.
What I am keeping:
1.2 Satanic Leaf Tails
What I am trying to achieve:
Overall temperature of 72 degrees w/ a drop to 68 degrees at night.
Humidity between 85-93%
How and what I am using:
36x18x13 40gallon w/ all screen top. 2 30" Reptisun 2.0 bulbs stretched over top of screen (possibly 1 or 2 inches above screen if they need more ventilation than that). I also want to create a small stream that will seperate about 1/6 of the foreground from the rest of the background and foreground. This I do not know how to do and would like any advice as to create a stream that will not over-sog my substrate. I am planning on putting about 15-20 plants in here ranging from epiphytes to terrestrial stars and smike moss to cover most of the terrarium floor. I am also using a bunch of rocks and small branches and would like to know the best way to sterilize these items. Would a water/bleach solution ever leave the pores of the rocks and branches? Or would baking in an oven be safer and what temperature is safe so that the wood doesn't burn?
Also, any husbandry suggestions would be great as well. I have miner-all I/O, vit-all, and I also breed some of my own feeders. Except crickets, I really hate the smell of them. I have been feeding all of my reptiles on a staple diet of lobster roaches including a small Thick-Toed Gecko.
Thanks,
Ryan

. The only problem is that they're really only good for arboreal species since they love to climb glass
. I'm working on orange headed roaches too, but they are much more expensive. I don't plan on getting into them, hornworms, hissers, and silkworms (heavily) until next summer.
