I have always wondered why rainwater albinos are sometimes called las vegas albinos. anyone know?

Tim Rainwater, the originator of the strain lives/lived in Las Vegas. Since he ripped SOOOO many people off, noone wants to associate his name with there stuff anymore.

ask anyone who has been into geckos a few years, we all know about it.
once he produced albinos he started selling hets like crazy, for somthing like a grand a pair or somthing like that, except they were not hets, they were normals, poss hets at best. He made a quick bundle of moeny and then just kinda disappeared out of the reptile biz.
Needless to say after what he did, alot of people dont want to glorify his name by having it associated with there animals
