The reason that im askin is dat i didnt introduce her to a male, but i keep her in the same cage as a male Anerythristic Type A corn snake and a rat snake (unknown sex. And i was wonderin weather it was possible 4 da rat snake and the amnel corn snake to breed. If so wat would da babies look like and if it was the 2 corn snakes that bred then wat wuld those babies look like.
Please help me and send me another message if u no anything.

Either of those snaked probably could have knocked her up. Is the "other" ratsnake (yes, corns are ratsnakes) one of the closely related North American Ratsnakes? You have many snakes... How many cages to you keep them all in? How long have you been doing this? If your post is for real (and I had my doubts) then you are kinda pushin' your luck in terms of your snakes' well-being keeping them together like that. You may be able to tell who daddy is once the little mutts hatch. Duffy

Duffy,

I keep different species in different cages and they are all healthy. I have been informed that they should be fine. Im not sure if the rat snake is from the area u hav suggested, how can i tell??? Thankyou for helping me, type back if you have anymore tips.

And if anyone else has any tips then please tell me.

My first tip would be to write your posts in English, Ebonics are difficult to understand when spoken, they are even more frustrating when place as the written word. Us old farts who fail to understand the reason someone would purposely try and sound uneducated, have an even more difficult time understanding what it is that you are trying to say with “Dat kinda jittin wit da peeps”.
But other then that, do you have any idea what sex any of the other two possible snakes are. What kind of “Rat Snake” is it that you housed with your corn snakes? (Yellow, Black, Grey, Texas, Chinese etc..).
As far as housing the different kinds of snakes together, not sure who told you it is ok, but it is not. You expose snakes from different parts of the world together in the same cage and expose them to parasites and illness that one type may be able to handle where the other may not and has never been exposed to. It is not much different then placing you in a one room home with a Chimp and a Gorilla as your room mates, might seem neat at first but when the Gorilla starts to eat your waste and the Chimp starts to through his around the room, you then realize there is a reason why all primates do not live in harmony with one another. The same is true with different snake species, some may even consider their cage mates as food, such as most king and milk snakes. That is not even touching on the fact that you may end up with accidental breedings of Mongoloid animals that could result in grossly deformed animals. The breedings could also result in harm to your corn snake. If the specie of rat snake is an animal that grows significantly bigger then a corn then the eggs may be larger then a corn can lay. You could end up with a dead snake that is egg bound because you caged two non-compatible species together.
Here is just one more tip for you, read a book. You will get more information out of your questions when you do the research yourself, then just asking some person at the pet store. If the person at the pet store is looking to sell a snake then he might just tell you that, yes it is ok to house a Rat snake, a Boa and a king snake all together, but if you read any of the information available you will find it not to be so.
Good Luck with the babies, I hope that the Anery Corn turns out to be “Da baby’s daddy”

I don't keep different types of snakes together, I keep the same types of snakes in one cage and other types of snakes in different cages. With the one exception of the rat snake.
Sorry about the slang, i think i talk on msn too much, ahhh well.
The rat snake is grey with black and reddy spots and is the same size as the corn snakes.
I have read many books and none of them said that you couldn't keep corn snakes and rat snakes together. But i think i should trust you more.
If the anery is the father then wat will the babies look like??? I have read on the internet that the babies would be ghost corns. Is this true???

If the Anery is the father and the mother is Amel then the babies should be Normal looking and Het for Snow (white corns). But many times there are hidden traits that you may not know about and the snake are carriers or Het for the trait, but do not show the trait. If both snakes are carriers for some traits then the babies will show signs of those traits as well. But assuming that the babies are just as you see them, then the babies will be normal. Now here is a funny thought for you? You said that the "Rat Snake" was gray and black with some red spots? Sounds like a Red Rat Snake AKA a Corn Snake LOL. Any chance that your "rat snake" is a normal colored corn?, One of the other common names for the Corn snake is the Red Rat, as they are from the same group of snakes as the American Rat snakes. Post a picture of the "rat snake" and we will be able to tell.
Good Luck
