Hello all. So I'm making my brief yearly rodent endeavor. I feed all my adults frozen thawed, but during hatching season, I like to have a fresh supply of live crawler size mice available. Anyway, in my pet store I was talking to the guy about bedding. They use, and he reccommended the "Cell-Sorb" recycled paper stuff. He claimed it was super at reducing oders, etc. But when I got the stuff home and dumped it out in the cage, I was suprised to find that the bedding itself stinks quite a bit, kind of a old rotten newspaper smell. My question is this, does this stuff normally smell this bad? Did I get a bad batch or what? Will the smell go down after it airs out? Just wanted some input. I haven't even bought the mice yet, so I know it doesn't have anything to do with mice. Thanks for any input....
