They were bred and never had pups tho.
Were they properly sexed? Given the proper temperature, humidity, uv? Given hides? Male removed after mating?
so on and so on.
That is what I meant about being more specific not just shorting your sentence. Provide more details along the lines given above so one of us can properly advise you otherwise, it is a shot in the dark.------------->

... they themselves don't seem to really know what they're asking. It's all in the details, but I guess that's not as obvious as it would seem.

Yes, they are male and female. They each live in a 20 gallon long tanks and don't have no UV at all. He does give them some humidty . He gives them a deit of dog food with veggies mixed in it.

There are a number of reasons why this could've happened.
Here are just a few mate:
Were they cooled? --> Most keepers believe that if Blueys aren't cooled over winter they won't produce offspring.
Were they seperated? --> This could play a big role in the male becoming interested, however is not always the case.
Were they given ample heating? --> After cooling - it's a good Idea to slowly raise the temps rather than crank it straight up.
Had the female bred the year before? --> Alot of blueys don't breed each year, most actually breed every 2nd year.
Female Blueys store sperm --> Yup - they store it, which of course makes it a pain in the ring for us keepers. We don't know how long they can store sperm for, or even if the sperm is good after long amounts of time.
Did the male actually succeed? --> I have 3 blotched Blueys (males) and an Eastern (female). One of my blotchies attempted mating with my eastern yet I have no babies. Was copulation successful? Nope, Will I have another shot this spring - Hell yeah!
How old are both of the Blueys? --> Blueys generally don't reach sexual maturity till the age of 3 - however - this is not always correct, but as a general rule - it's good to follow.
Who's enclosure did who go into? --> Personally i think this means jack, but other keepers think it is important. Generally speaking - it is advised you put the female in the males enclosure. This causes her to 'freeze up' and the male can do his thing with very little hassle.
Anyway mate - hope I helped ya out,
Goodluck!
Luke.
