This was sold to me as a female mali about 10 months ago or so. Now a buddy of mine says it's an Egyptian. Does anyone have any thoughts on it. Length is just over 12 inches & weight is 302 grams.

I never like to say "definitely", but my first impression is that that is a mali. My understanding is that the Egyptians are generally a grey/black color with minimal/no other coloring. I do not have a good sense of specific weights, but she looks great in the picture. Whatever you are doing, it looks to be working.
