Your question is not new to this forum, but one that actually comes up quite a lot by new or would be owners of Bloods and Short-tails. The answer to your question, is Yes! they do have a tendency to feel squishy or soft, but don't be fooled by that, as these guys are by no means soft around the belly. They are known or prone to have a higher fat count for an animal its size, fat to muscle ratio, however, that is not something that has been scientifically quantified. At any rate, these guys can pack a wallop of a bite, and are notorious for having remarkable speed and agility, when they hone in on a prey. So watch your self around the fat boy, he may not like what you're thinking.
