Question about creating a hybino.......

MattP Apr 27, 2004 07:51 PM

Okay I was just curious as to whether or not anyone knows anything about this. A hybino is a Hypo Tangerine Albino, right?

And does anyone know the contrasting colors. For example an Albino with white and yellow bands. What are those colors as normal? Is the white, white? Is the yellow, yellow?

I just basically want to know, what would a Super Hypo Tangerine look like, if it was albino (Tremper Albino)?

Thanks,

Matt

Yes, it stands for Hypo and don't have to be Tangerine

It is kind like normal albino and it has reducing whiteness because white replaces black

I just basically want to know, what would a Super Hypo Tangerine look like, if it was albino (Tremper Albino)?

It will has organe but it has to be through slective bred to make it intense.

What I'm doing is taking a very nice looking SHTC (King from HISS) and breeding him with two nice looking Tangerine Albinos from AMgecko. Then I'm going to take those het babies and breed them together. I should have some very nice looking Hybinos. After that though, I'm going to either breed King again or another nice looking SHTC to my best Hybino. Then breed those het babies together and try to create some of the best hybinos in the world.

It will take a few years though,

Matt

Preston is correct, a "Hybino" is a hypo-albino, or one with reduced brown/purple/pink/white.. which would normally be the dark areas. They are created the same way any other hypo is, by selectively breeding ones that have these characteristics. Here's a picture of a tangerine hybino:
