Just curious, but has anyone crossed a transpecos rat x a corn snake? I have a large male suboc and a normal female corn het. snow I may be interested in trying together next season. Has anyone done this?

Not that I know of. I think the ratsnake group is fairly easy to hybridize but people have not done much of it for some strange reason. A corn X suboc would be very cool. Especially if the corn is amel or snow striped het hypo or something along those lines.
Yuck. Thank God the chromosome numbers between those twoanimals are different and make this cross highly unlikely. I like subocsbecause they AREN'T hybridized yet - you can't say that about many other species. Just what we need - MORE types of snakes where verifiable pure ones can't be found easily in the trade market.
