It is a somewhat strange looking boa constrictor. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the sides are unusually gray on an otherwise normal looking central american boa.

I have seen Rainbow Boas that became gray on the side at night but then would have more normal pigmentation during the day. That is normal for Rainbow boas. This could be similar to that.

Otherwise, it looks as if the boa is partially anerythristic/axanthic along the sides. That is probably some sort of genetic disorder interfering with the distribution of yellow/orange pigment.

Of course, all this is mere speculation based on a difficult to evaluate photograph.

Can you
1. post a picture of the whole animal?
2. resize your picture to something like 800 x 600 or less so we can see the whole thing at once?

That might make it easier to decide what, if anything, is strange about the snake.

I would have to agree with Chris on this one. Looks like a partial anery to me. The yellow traces reminds me of some of the red rats we have in South Florida.

The species is Boa constrictor, but i've never seen that color in all my years keeping herps.
