Is 8in a good size for an adult gecko mine just started eating and he is pretty small compared to ever1 elses

8in is about average. small in what way? skinny?

Every leo is different. Some leos are bigger than others. 8 inches is a very normal length for an adult leo...my female leo is about 8 inches long and my male leo is just under 8 inches.
I am also a leo freak, owning 2 (Pheonix, a high yellow male, and Beanie, a normal female) as well as 2 lovebirds, a green cheek conure, a golden retriever, a black cat, and a green anole. They are demanding but I wouldn't trade any of them for the world!!!

Most of my adult gex are just under, right at, or just above 8.0". But my adult male is 9.7" long. And I too am a Leofreak.
