***** Woma Question ***** Growth Rates ******* Feeding Schedule ******

waswell Jun 15, 2003 04:03 PM

Just received my first Woma He is a 2003 and was born 3 weeks ago. I have a question about feeding and growth rates. For those of you who have raised babies: Do they grow fast because they eat alot of because their growth rate is faster than most snakes? How often do you feed and what qtys per feeding? Does anyone have growth charts to pass on? Is 2 inches per month about normal? Thanks in advance for any advise you could offer !!!!

Hello,
I do not have any charts to pass on but, i bought a pair of 02 womas last october and they were born in june of 02 so they are now 1 year old and they are about 4.5 feet long and eat 1 med/large rats every two weeks. They grow unbelivably fast and mine shed every 3 weeks at first. There first year is really explosive in growth. hope this helps
