Addicted to superworms

artsykitten Jun 15, 2003 04:08 PM

Hello!
Pharoah is being a brat. Ever since i introduced him to superworms, thats all he wants! He hardly ever eats his salad anymore, all he will eat is supers. I even tried not feeding him anything but veggies for a week and he still wont eat em. and then i feel bad so i give him some superworms because i dont want him to starve! Ugh, its driving me insane. any suggestions? should i just keep giving him veggies and no more superworms? will he eventually stop holding out for them and start with his veggies again? i know that if they are hungry enough they will eat whats there, but i just dont know how long he will go! Thanks for any replies.

Yep, the super worm addiction, lol. I know that people have had to wait it out just like you are saying, maybe you can wean the dragon off of them by offering a super and then some crix or some greens? Not sure, but people have had to go through the same as you. Chris

They will switch to roaches. Better than crickets or mealworms, and lizards can't resist.
