If I breed a normal male to an anery female Cuban Boa, I have to breed a son back...

to her to prove her anerytherism? Being that anery is a co dominant trait right? It doesn't just appear with the first breeding? I have very little breeding experience and all the details behind specific morphism is pretty unknown to me. I have a trio of Angulifer and one female definitely appears to be anerytheristic. Making her the only one in the world that I know of. She's just a baby and I'd really like to work with her but I'm considering getting rid of the normal pair for now and then picking up an adult male for her in a couple years. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I suggest you keep them all if you can. Having extra males on hand has proven to be the difference between success and failure with insular Epicrates species. Not always but it has been my experience with Rainbows. I haven't bred any insulars yet though. BTW, anerythrism is usually a recessive trait, not co-dom. That means it'll take two genertions to get what you are hoping to prove out. Co -dominance is where the trait shows up immediately in the next generation.
In my opinion, if you have all of these angulifer, you should keep them and breed them as there could always be a few more of them out there. They are a highly underappreciated species...perhaps you can help get some public interest stirred up with this new morph if it proves out....if so, you may be kicking yourself for selling the other normal animals.
But perhaps Jay w. will chime in and add his 2 cents to this.
If you have the opportunity, I'd love to see pics of your anery and the normals too.
Good luck!
