I live in North Eastern Texas in the town of Texarkana Texas- a border town. Until this spring I have never seen Geckos in my area! So it was all news the other day when I open up our breaker box outside to find 3 geckos living inside the box amonsgt all the wires! The are most grey colored, white whitish under bellies with a little pink underneath their throats. I have tried to catch one for further identification but they are much to quick to go through the whol that provies wiring into my house. Sticking my hand in a pile of unidentified wires doesn't sound like a smart idea. Anyway, I'm going to try to take a picture of them outside and if anyone is interested in identifying the species please let me know. Also, if anyone has any clue to why they are living in the breaker box with the hot wires please let me now. I thought it could be because of the low freq sounds emmitted by the wires, insects are attraced but the geckos can be seen out at night time around the halide lights. Maybe they could be charging, their feet
