i have a chinese water dragon i have had for 3 years now. i got from a friend who worked at a petsmart and the lizard was almost dead. i took him in and he is the nicest and smartest herp i own i can get him to come to me when i snap my fingers.
when i get home i let him out of his cage and walk around my room he seems to like being im my room then in his cage i keep him in a 175g reptarium. a lot of people tell me it is a bad idea to keep him out of his cage but my room is herp friendly and i only let him out when i am home and abel to watch him the only trouble i have with him is he likes to mess with my budgies. he will sit out side the cage and stand up and the birds fly around and freek out and he seems to injoy it
