I came home today from work expecting to do some cage cleaning,expecting nothing to exciting. Much to my suprise two out of my three gravid Cal kings were busy laying thier eggs!!!!!
I could tell by the actions (sheds, roaming) they were getting close to laying so I gave them all nest boxes a few days ago. So far my banded coastal has eight to ten eggs and my desert banded has five I can count. They both look like they have more to lay. I noticed my banana has settled into her nest box also. What I could see of them, the eggs seem to look good.
