Fish, frogs, salamanders, ground skinks, etc. Crickets are not going to be a good food source in general, though I am sure some Diadophis will take them.

My first snake was a ringneck, found him when I was about 12, that was 16 years ago. Now I'm still just as fascinated as ever with snakes. Anyway, I ended up letting the little bugar go after a couple of weeks because he wouldn't eat. But I imagine that with time he would have adjusted to life in captivity and started eating. Just give him some more time to adjust. He'll be fine.
Ok,
You have yet to tell us all how big the snake is. But let it settle down before trying to feed it. You told me that you had it in with like 4 other snakes just yesterday. Give it 1 week to get used to it's home. On the 7th day, if and when it starts roaming around, grab a worm and dip it in some water(makes the worms wiggle more) and drop it near the snake, do this with about 4 worms and leave the room. The snake will see your slightest movements or feel your vibrations and won't focus on the worms, so leave and come back 5 minutes later. If that doesn't work, try it again in 2 days.

he is by hiself, i have a ghost corn, but in a seprate aqurium, thanks for the advice, ill give it a try, and he is a little over a foot long. i have pics of him if any of you want(and of my ghost as well)
Yeah sure I wanna see some pics. I caught a northern ringneck earlier today. Lifted up a huge rock and found a close to 15 inch brown snake and a 1 foot ringneck. On the way to my house, it bit me like 8 times, didn't connect with foreskin though, so it isn't gonna affect me(plus it didn't break the skin) it's a female.
A ringneck observation- All of the ringnecks that I have found have all been hiding under cover that was alot bigger than the snake itself. Around 4 to 6 times as big as the snake. Has anyone else ever found ringnecks hiding under way larger cover as well?

I find almost all snakes that have been flipped in cover that is much larger than the snake itself. Even the 5-6 ft rat snakes.
