Zoning out?

OftenK Apr 28, 2004 09:48 PM

Hi. I just got a little baby iguana, Manny, and for the first day or so, he was happy to sit on his gnarled log under the light, and occasionally take a dip in his pool. But recently he's made a point to climb into the hollow part of his log and sit in there, with his eyes closed. He does this day and night, so I don't think he's really sleeping. Is this what they call "zoning out"? And if so, what can I do to help him be more comfortable with his surroundings?

Thanks,
Mark

Be patient...give him plenty of time to adjust to his new surroundings. Check out the website www.greenigsociety.org for a boat-load of reliable information about igs.
AND...good luck!
