How do you add color to tile grout?

I'm experimenting with styrofoam to make fake rocks. How do you add color to white tile grout? Also, how strong and water proof will it be when it's had a few coats added? Will it be strong enough to be scrubbed if soiled?

Buy the colored grout! There are a lot of different colors. You could use the color pigments they use for cement also, but that just increases the cost.Several coats sealed up will be sturdy, although I don't think I would be doing any "scrubbing", usually a good moist sponge or paper towel wil do the trick.
