I'm puzzled

sharib Apr 28, 2004 10:48 PM

I have been searching the web and checking every reptile shop I can find, and yet I cannot find a Northern Pine anywhere. I did find a few (one, maybe two) breeders that said they MIGHT have some babies late summer early fall.

Why doesn’t anybody breed or sell these wonderful animals?

Any suggestions where I might find a nice healthy male adult or sub-adult Northern Pine Snake?

Thanks,
Shari

Well,
Northern Pines are pretty popular, and usually sell right away so no one usually has left overs laying around! But keep an eye on the kingsnake classifieds, could swear I saw an adult in the ads not too long ago. But do be picky, and pick from the best. It is worth being on a waiting list on a breeder with good stock, as my buddy Gregg knows all too well! He picked up a screamer pair from me last year. This years babies are all likely spoken for. But drop John Meltzer a line at rjreptiles@msn.com and tell him Russell sent you. He might be able to help you out if you act fast. His stuff sells early too, but I think he's still going to have some to sell yet this early in the game. Just continue to be patient, and get your name on waiting lists. It's worth it! Here's a baby of mine from last year.

I'm glad i waited and bought the picks of the litter from you, as well as other breeders. Have a good one Russell,
