Collared Confusion

Solace Apr 28, 2004 11:02 PM

My collared Roland is an eastern collared lizard does anyone know the scientific name? He's got black spots all over his back and legs but is pretty pale otherwise. His tail and back legs are just starting to turn a bit green but i heard that eastern collareds dont get very colorful even the males. Any input would be appreciated thx.

Crotaphytus collaris is the latin name. Eastern collareds can be very colorful. It just depend on where he came from.
