The first two and the last one are in pretty bad shape. Their tails are so thin, they must be sick. They look like my poor old sick leo before he croaked. I can't believe someone would try to sell them. But the worst thing is someone might buy them. Poor little guys . I think they would have a tough time trying to give them away (let alone sell them) if it was to someone who knows anything about reptiles.

I take back that comment about Rex, my leo that passed. Even he looked better than those guys when he was sick.

I'm thinking the 001, 002, and 003 may be the years they were born? If so 22-24 grams for full grown leos, unreal.

I think the numbers are only identifiers, so you can communicate with them about specific animals. As in, "have you thought about maybe feeding F-003??"

yes I just saw that. If they are not adults than the 22 grams is not so scarry. Not so scarry, but still not good

Maybe I'm just really exhausted from filling out so many job applications, but what's wrong them?

I don't see anywhere where it has leos that are 22-24 grams. And while, yes, the tails could be fatter, they still look healthy - other than a bad cutting & pasting job, but that's a computer thing.

I went to the website listed - www.milwaukeereptiles.com/available.html
So what am I missing here?

Okay check out the upclose pic of 003 - www.milwaukeereptiles.com/available/tangerine-m.jpg

If you'll closely follow the edges of his body, you'll notice gaps and irregular lines, right? You can especially see this on his tail - that's why I looked closer.

When you cut & paste with Adobe Photoshop, it follows the lines that IT thinks it should follow - I know this because I have worked the thing before, and it can be very difficult to work with if you're not used to working with Adobe.

That's what this looks like - an Amateur cut & paste job. If the background were the original, you would be able to see a shadow of sorts, but you can't - it's completely black. It's not the original background.

Granted, the guy should fatten them up some more before he sells them, but they're not sick, and I don't see why our hearts should be breaking over a Bad Cut & Paste job.

Just to emphasize my point, I'm including a photo that I cut & pasted together using Adobe. Granted, I had to practice and recut and recut and recut a LOT to get it to look this good.

You can tell that it's not real because, well, #1 because who's ever seen a Leopard Gecko this big?!? #2 - if you'll look really closely at the leo's left shoulder (your right), there's a small black/brown line that came from the original picture (which had the top of a desk in the background).

I knew enough from Art class to put shadowing, but the tail, which came from a different leo, since I needed that certain positioning, just doesn't have the correct lighting.

But, hey, it's good enough for someone who doesn't use Adobe too often, I think! It's for my cooperating teacher's website (she's the woman with the leo on her shoulder).

And I just noticed, too, look at Kinky's toes (the leo). Do they look like they're even really there at all? In the original photo, they are. But Adobe, for whatever reason, did NOT want to let me include them!!! So I finally gave up & said this would work.

Does that mean I have a sick or deformed gecko? uh, no. Just that I'm an amateur at cutting and pasting.

You missed it. He must have taken them off before you could see them. Rttlrvenom said that she emailed him, so maybe he realized how stupid it was to have them on the site. Or maybe he reads this forum. Well, its a good thing you didn't see them, because you would have been very sad. They were the WORST LEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN .

all I see are a few geckos that are a bit skinny and could use some more weight, and shouldnt be sold until they gain it.
But other than that...they look just fine to me. Perhaps im not seeing what you all are seeing, I dont know. But I do know that just b/c they arent huge, doesnt mean they're sick.

Just my 2 cents.

If I had the money I'd buy every one of them just to get them away from their present owner.. unfortunately I don't though. I have the room.. the food... and the ability.. (I was prepared for a lot of hatchlings this year.. but due to a move lost most of my eggs) but not the money to do so.. My one female lost alot of weight this winter so she's been seperated.. quarentined.. vetted out and on my own baby food diet mixture and small amounts of probiotics once a week since there was nothing really wrong with her.. My sister's house just got too cold to be able to keep her heat up enough.. which really sucked.

i got an email back from brian, who im guessing owns the place and hers what se sent me

I realized that I didn’t actually answer your question. Sorry about that. The actual reason that some of them are thinner is because they did stop eating for a short time when they were kept in groups. I have separated all of ones I have for sale, and they have been eating. They are still sub-adults but I am aware that the tails could be bigger. I did go ahead and pull the two smaller ones off the website for now. Hopefully I can get them a little bigger before I try to sell again. Also, the male that is left (M-003), that is actually an older picture so he looks a little thinner than he is right now. Thanks again and feel free to respond.

Brian

well there it is so id say make youer own decision but ill wait and malke mine later after i hear everyones elses
