Meals worms..

kevin851939 Jun 15, 2003 05:27 PM

Well, I just wanted to try this. I was wondering what a good site to get mealworms at was. I just recently started to get mealworms at my local place that's only open on weekends, so I'm looking for somewhere to also replace that place. Although, it's most likely cheaper to get it at the local store because of the shipping issues of websites, but I want to try.
Also, a place to get crickets too.

Thanks a bunch

Uhmmm you can look over the feeders on the kingskae pages or try www.lllreptile.com.. they have good prices and good stock.. I've ordered all my feeders from them in the past... I now breed my own mealies.. started out with 2000... now produce quite a few..

I get crix, mealworms and waxies and fruit flies all from Reptilefood.com

Unless you are paying a penny a piece for bugs you WILL save money buying online from them. I average buy 4 boxes (going in with others sometimes) every 2 or 3 weeks. (till my own colonies kick in more) and I pay about a penny and quarter or 1 1/2 cents each for the bugs. That is like less than $13/ box of 1000

I have never seen mealies as low as $8 locally. Wow. Here if you want to get 1000 you can order yourself, order through the only local pet store (where I used to work) for $19 a K or order with me for cost....usually with S/H it is just under $13.
Hope it works out for you.
