I don't know why not if your ig doesn't mind the wind. The sun should provide plenty of radient heat.
I wish it was warmer here! It's 41 F and we're expecting snow tonight...springtime in the Rockies!

ok i took hooligan out for two hours today
she seemed to like it (moving around alot, smelling things, climbing bushes etc.)
she even let me pick her up pet her (without the baby blanket which is what a normally have to use to pick her up)
so did she like u think?
or was she just too scared to put up a fight?
i have no idea if she has ever been outide before.
also i swatted a bee off her,
what happens if she get stung, can an ig handle insect stings?
will it make them sick?
what can i do if this happens?

Sounds like she enjoyed it! Bee stings..mmm..can a bee's stinger actually puncture an iguanas skin? Good question. I suppose if she did get stung you would have to watch for signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling and respiratory distress.

As long as it's warm outside, and you keep him the sun, you can take him out. They have iguana leashes but I don't recommend them because they rub on the scales and wear them down.
