Seems like everyone that wants these guys has them. Not a big market for them. I say that because if there was a big market they would be all over the place like ball pythons. I plan on picking up a pair for myself here soon

Actually, they aren't all over the place like ball pythons because there neither as many in the wild, nor are they exported legally (or easily) out of their country of origin. I've had plenty of folks express interest in any offspring I get in the next few years so I can say pretty confidently that most folks who want them "don't" have them. They aren't necesarrily tough to breed so prices should come down in a couple years.
Awesome animals...

Well if you check out the classifieds or talk with certain people you can find plenty of angolans around. I know lazik has plenty to go around. Most who want them have them. Yes they are rare in collections and Imports may be impossable. These animals have a selective market. Such as what I keep timor pythons. Not everyone likes them, they only attract a certain group of people. I do agree they are very nice animals in which I plan on picking up a pair in the next year or so. Next on the list is diamond pythons probably at daytona this year for me. Anyways,
John
