Water Dragon Setup

slytherin Apr 29, 2004 02:46 PM

Hi,
I have a 30 gallong long tank laying around & I'm looking to fill it & a water dragon was a possible thought. Do you think it's too small an enclosure? I was looking for a baby & if you could let me know if that would be too small for one or 2 for say the next year,,possible year & a half....I don't want the animal to be cramped so if it's too small I'll think of some other species to put in there..thanks for your help

Thats OK for a baby for a few months. They need lots of space tho or they become stressed.
I kept my Bearded Dragon in a 30 for quite a while and he even missed it when I moved him up to the 50gal.

By a year and a half your dragon will be nearly full grown, and way to big for a 30 gallon tank. It might be ok until he is 3 or 4 months old, but I never kept mine in anything smaller than a 55 gallon tank.
