In my situation, what would you do? I need a second or opinions

OKay the situation is, that im building a new cage for my 2 water dragons that is 6'x6'x4' (HxWxD). The left side is going to have a large pond complete with a waterfall, and then the right side is going to be densely populated with fake plants and vines. I would use real plants but i never can get them to live for much longer then a month. Now going from side to side there will be 2-3 6 ft long, 2-3" in diameter bamboo sticks(these are to serve as basking spots). I dont want the water dragons going much higher than 5 ft due to falling injuries. So as far as lighting goes, what would i be better off doing? should i use one of those powersuns or maybe a 4ft repti-sun 5.0 hung down 6" by chain on both sides of the fixture to about the 5'6" level so that the wd's can get within 6" of the bulb?

I would just get the powersuns, I don't know if your dragons would stay within 12 inches of the flourescent tube for enough hours of the day. The powersuns are effective up to 6 feet so you don't have to worry about where the dragons like to hang out.

i think that first of all, with that kinda space you'll have no problem with live plants. my enslosure is a bit smaller, and i have all real stuff...nothing has died yet and i built this enclsure 5 months ago. secondly, if you are considering using the reptisun vs the powersun u r crazy. the reptisun is pretty much obsolete right now. i would use 2 powersun 160w spot, and i also use a 150w zoomed halagon as a basking light. i have it so that my power sun also heats up the general basking area. this way the get the uva/uvb, while warming up....i will send pics soon...good luck
